How to Calculate Cat or Dog Years in Human Years
29 July 2021 — | Miscellaneous
Did you know that one cat or dog year doesn’t equal 7 human years?
In fact, feline or canine aging is faster during the first two years of a cat’s or dog’s life. A cat or dog reaches the approximate human age of 15 during it’s first year, then 24 at the age of 2. Each year thereafter, your pet ages approximately four cat or dog years every year.
Following this equation, that means that a 6 year old cat or dog would be approximately 40 in human years.
