Deliciously healthy donuts for your dog made with sweet potato, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, honey and topped with Zoë Beef with Peas and Pumpkin kibble. Ingredients for Howl-oween Donuts:

Donuts:

1 cup buckwheat flour

1 tsp baking powder

½ cup mashed sweet potato

2 eggs

¼ cup plain, low-fat Greek yogurt

3 tbsp honey

2 tbsp chia seeds

Glaze:

¼ cup plain, low-fat Greek yogurt

1 tbsp honey

Toppings:

Zoë Beef with Peas & Pumpkin kibble

Chia seeds

How to Make the Howl-oween Donuts:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the buckwheat flour and baking powder.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the sweet potato, eggs, yogurt, honey, and chia seeds until well combined. Then, pour the wet ingredients into the flour and baking powder mixture.  
  4. Pour mixture into a donut pan filling all the way to the top.
  5. Bake at 375°F for 12 to 15 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, prepare the glaze. Mix the yogurt and honey together in a bowl.
  7. Remove the donuts from the oven and let cool for 5 to 10 minutes.
  8. Dip in the glaze and top with Zoë kibble and chia seeds! Watch your pooch enjoy this tasty treat!
