Summer is all about fun, sun, and yummy treats, and what could be more delightful than homemade popsicles? We’ve partnered with Christopher from May Eighty Five to bring you a Creamy Blueberry Mojito Popsicle recipe. Plus, we have a pupsicle version, so your furry friends can enjoy a cool treat too! 

Zoë Better than Rawhide Mint Dog Treats

This recipe is inspired by Zoë’s Mint Flavour Rawhide Free Twists. These treats not only come in a flavour that pets love, but also help maintain dental hygiene by cleaning their teeth and reducing bad breath. They’re an excellent way to reward your pet while taking care of their oral health. With regular use, you can ensure your furry friend’s smile stays bright and their breath remains fresh!

Blueberry Mojito Popsicles Ingredients

For the Blueberry Lime Compote:

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint leaves

For the Yogurt Mixture:

  • 1 1/2 cups Greek yogurt
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • 5 tablespoons rum

Additional Equipment

  • Popsicle molds
  • Popsicle sticks

Blueberry Mint and Yogurt Dog Popsicles (pupsicles) 

This pupsicle recipe is both tasty and beneficial for your dog. Blueberries are rich in antioxidants, Greek yogurt provides probiotics for digestive health, and mint leaves help freshen breath. For an added touch, use Zoë’s Mint Flavour Rawhide Free Twists as the popsicle stick. It’s a great way to support your dog’s dental health while giving them a treat they’ll love!

Ingredients for These Pupsicles

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt (ensure it has no artificial sweeteners)
  • A handful of fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • 1/4 water

How to make Pupsicles

Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients

  1. In a bowl, combine the blueberries, chopped mint with the plain Greek yogurt. Add the water and stir to combine.

Step 2: Fill the Molds

  1. Pour into Molds: Spoon the mixture into popsicle molds or ice cube trays.
  2. Insert Sticks: Place a dog treat into each mold. If using an ice cube tray, simply press the treat into the center.

Step 3: Freeze

  1. Freeze the Pupsicles: Place the molds in the freezer and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until completely solid.

Step 4: Serve

  1. Unmold and Enjoy: To remove the pupsicles from the molds, run the outside of the mold under warm water for a few seconds. Serve the treat to your dog under supervision.
